From Classroom to Community Builder
Born in Maiduguri in 1999, Fatima witnessed firsthand the struggles of vulnerable families affected by conflict and poverty in northern Nigeria. Instead of waiting for change, she became the change.
At just 14 years old, while still in secondary school, Fatima founded the Advocacy for Human Value Foundation (AHVF) – a youth-driven nonprofit focused on restoring dignity to marginalized communities.
Education Meets Activism
A Political Science graduate from the University of Maiduguri and an alumna of the prestigious YALI Leadership Program, Fatima blends academic insight with real-world action. Her leadership is not just inspirational, it’s transformational.
Impact in Numbers
Through AHVF, Fatima has led groundbreaking interventions across 73 underserved communities in northern Nigeria:
✅ Built and renovated schools & classrooms
✅ Provided scholarships and mentorship for disadvantaged students
✅ Paid hospital bills and supported emergency medical care
✅ Delivered trauma care for displaced families
✅ Mobilized over 1,300 active volunteers
✅ Positively impacted more than 6,000 lives — and counting
